Duma can mull sanctions fulfillment ban draft in spring session

MOSCOW, May 11 (PRIME) -- The Russian authorities plan to submit amendments to the legislation, introducing a penalty for fulfillment of sanctions against Russia in May and to consider them until the end of the spring session, Speaker for the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin told reporters on Friday.

“Amendments to the Administrative Offence Code envisaging responsibility for fulfillment of sanctions against Russia are to be submitted to the State Duma until the end of May. We expect that we will consider a corresponding bill in three readings until the end of the spring session,” Volodin said.
